<\/a>With no words…<\/p><\/div>Well, when I was about leaving the La Silla Observatory<\/a> on 23rd January 2015, I was naturally very sad. The place meant to me so much, I’d just simply fallen in love with that. But the life goes on and other destination supposed to be great too – Observatory Paranal<\/a>. But it meant two things – long way up north and one night just in the heart of famous Chilean Atacama desert. After long afternoon drive from La Silla I found stunning lonely and wide place, where I stopped by car and enjoyed the night under the stars. Milky way in the sky was sometimes covered the clouds, bud when the skies cleared up, I just couldn’t stop to gaze there. Used Canon 6D Baader Mod, Samyang 24 mm, f2.8, ISO 10000, 12×15 s panorama.<\/p>\n By the calm Atacama moonlit<\/p><\/div>The way I felt in the middle of nothing, just like on the Mars and with stars up above, can probably show this image. It was about two hours after sunset, the Moon was still above the horizon, but despite the moonlit the sky was still full of stars. I was standing leaning agains the car and watching slow movement of the Milky way. Just in the moments when even for naked eyes bright Carina nebula was high enought to escape from the far clouds above the horizon. I swear I felt like this was all arranged just for me, for that moment. Unforgottable moment. Used Canon 6D Baader Mod, Samyang 24 mm, f2,8, ISO 6400, 15 s, tripod.<\/p>\n The view to the Desert rose<\/p><\/div>When I finally reached the majestic Cerro Paranal, I was still in touch with the desert around. In one moment I listened to the famous song of Sting – Desert Rose<\/a> and I realized there is one in the sky. Not the song, the rose… Well, by the shape the Carina nebula<\/a> seems literally like a rose, especially if it’s captured by modified camera showing the red-ping color of it. So here is it.
