The October one, peaking usually around 21st October, is called <a href=\"https:\/\/earthsky.org\/astronomy-essentials\/everything-you-need-to-know-orionid-meteor-shower\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Orionids<\/a>. In the view, you can count 19 of them seemingly flying from are above <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Orion_(constellation)\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Orion constellation<\/a> (left from the center). The sky is crossed by the Milky Way, hosting also numerous red <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/H_II_region\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">hydrogen nebulae<\/a> such as <a href=\"https:\/\/apod.nasa.gov\/apod\/ap190823.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">NGC 1499<\/a> called &#8220;California&#8221; (on the top) or many of them in the <a href=\"https:\/\/apod.nasa.gov\/apod\/ap150316.html\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Orion itself<\/a>. Very bright is planet Mars, nearby the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/earthsky.org\/space\/definition-what-is-the-gegenschein\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Gegenschein<\/a>&#8220;, captured just a week after its <a href=\"https:\/\/earthsky.org\/tonight\/mars-to-reach-opposition-october-13\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">great opposition in 2020<\/a>. In the foreground, five of Slovak extinct volcanoes north from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unipo.sk\/en\/en\/ir\/stay\/presov\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Pre\u0161ov city<\/a> surrounded by fog can be seen (such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.darksky.org\/light-pollution\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">light pollution<\/a> from the city itself). The closest one is the &#8220;Lys\u00e1 str\u00e1\u017e&#8221; mount, same as the others were active last time in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/science\/Tertiary-Period\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Tertiary Period<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.geology.sk\/wp-content\/uploads\/documents\/foto\/MS\/MS_1987-5\/Rekon%C5%A1trukcia%20%C4%8Dasov%C3%A9ho%20v%C3%BDvoja%20vulk%C3%A1nov%20severnej%20%C4%8Dasti%20Slansk%C3%BDch%20vrchov.pdf\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Slovak study<\/a> says 13.1 million years), now giving a fantastic view from Ter\u0148a city.<\/p>\n<p>Captured from 19th to 23rd October 2020, for foreground used Canon 6D BCF modified, Sigma 35mm, f1.6, ISO 6400, panorama of 28 panels, each stacked of 6&#215;13 seconds from tripod.
