Volcano and the Space Station<\/p><\/div>It may look like a plane crashes a mountain. But no. In this shot, the perspective shows the dynamic of ground and space happenings at the same time, captured from Pucon, Chile. In the foreground, the active Villarrica volcano<\/a> produces soft light from lava in its crater scattering on vapor over its summit. From right, the International Space Station just silently flies over the volcano during its one-round trip around the Earth. Much more distant are objects in the Milky Way, mostly interstellar matter around the almost hidden Southern Cross<\/a>. The bright star above the Villarrica’s summit is star Acrux, low over the horizon on the left you can also spot star Hadar, the beta Centauri<\/a>. Like a sky rose looks like the Carina Nebula<\/a> on the left upper corner, where young stars are being such alive like the volcano as well. We live in a really alive space. Used Canon 6D modified, Tamron 70-200mm@70mm, f2.8, ISO 10000, 3×15 seconds timelapsing from tripod. Captured on 16th December 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
