Spotting the Mercury in front of the Sun<\/p><\/div>On Monday May 9th, 2016<\/a>, the planet Mercury appeared in fron of the Sun. The rare phenomenon was wordly expected and so many talented photographers decided to take a chance for the best shot. And they were really successful<\/a>. I didn’t have that huge ambitions cause I wanted to enjoy it visually the most, same as the last time 13 years ago<\/a>. But as the phenomenon took about 7 hours in Garching, Germany<\/a>, I had enough time for both. When the Sun went down over the trees, just a few minutes before the sunset, it got a bit fainter and reddish to get some shot even without a special filter. And that was my moment. Moment of this magical shot. The Mercury is the small black dot on the bottom of the Sun’s face.
