Another strong geomagnetic storm of this year brought bright auroras over central Europe on 10th through 11th October 2024. Unfortunately, this time the weather was completely against me, I was lucky to capture the bright red just before the main show started, because by that time thick clouds with rain covered the whole sky over Z\u00e1hradn\u00e9, Slovakia. What a bad luck this time \ud83d\ude41 Used Canon Ra, ISO1600, Sigma 50mm (f1.8), 35mm (f1.8), and Canon 6D, Samyang 12mm (f2.8), ISO 4000, different exposures (from 4s to 8s).<\/p>\n
