It even caused some inconveniences. While observing from Prose\u010d u Se\u010de, Czech Republic, a beautiful family of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalgeographic.com\/science\/article\/lightning-sprites-transient-luminous-events-thunderstorms\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Red Sprites<\/a> appeared at 21:06:34 UTC above a strong thunderstorm, which was located about 240 km from me. Their typical red color is caused by nitrogen emission at about 50-95 km in the atmosphere, and they last only 1\/100s.
