Just in a short moment before the Moon disappeared, very colorful &#8220;aura&#8221; created around it. The phenomenon is called Lunar aureole or <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Corona_(optical_phenomenon)\" target=\"_blank\">atmospheric corona<\/a>, produced by produced by the diffraction of light from the the Moon by individual small water droplets and sometimes tiny ice crystals of a cloud. So I quickly set my camera Canon 6D with 500mm lenses on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vixen-astronomie.de\/produkte\/polarie-star-tracker\/\" target=\"_blank\">Vixen Polarie<\/a> mount and captured this shot (ISO 100, exp. 2.5s with f8).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While the Gibbous Moon of 10th December was slowly setting over a cloudy horizon of Se\u010d reservoir, I have noticed there is also higher cloudiness passing by.
