Under the sky shore<\/p><\/div>Sometimes the sky can be so metaphoric. Like in this shot, taken on first day of 2017 over the Oravsk\u00e1 Lesn\u00e1<\/a> of Slovakia<\/a>. I took a walk in fresh snow, while the skies cleared up and the stars appeared above me. It wasn’t just about beautiful winter starry sky<\/a> that moment as I’d noticed there are some waves of airglow<\/a> over the eastern horizon. In the same direction, bright celestial duo – planet Jupiter and star Spica – was slowly rising. Despite the light pollution<\/a> due to after-fireworks dust I could enjoy the faint winter Milky Way as well as even fainter bridge of the zodiacal light<\/a>. The waves of airglow made the photographic view similar as waves of an ocean moving to a sandy shore. As I wrote – the sky can be so metaphoric.
