Jupiter and five moons<\/p><\/div>On the 7th May, 2017, the Jupiter-Moon conjuction occured in the sky. The maximum phase of the wonderful phenomenon was visible over \u00dastupky, the Czech Republic, at about 1:30 a.m. local time, May 8th, 2017, when the Jupiter was just about 1 degree south from lunar edge. Thin clouds appeared during the closest approach, producing colorful atmospheric corona around the Moon. In the zoomed cut, you can identify the positions of the four Galilean moons<\/a>. So five moons in one field! Used Canon 6D, MTO-1000 AW (f10.5\/1100), ISO250, 1\/60 s, Jovian moons enhanced by 1s exposure, Vixen<\/a> GP-2 mount.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
