The dawn Sprite<\/p><\/div>As the summer on the northern hemisphere peaks, there are lot of thunderstorms here in the central Europe. One of it was located over southwest Poland in the early morning 28 June 2017. Viewed from Kloko\u010dov village, Czech Republic (49\u00b048’09.3″N and 15\u00b039’58.6″E<\/a>), I could capture something more unique than the storm itself – an ephemeral Red Sprite<\/a> was produced a hundreds kilometres from me. The shot was taken just dozens of minutes after the dawn started, so the sky is not dark. According to the perfectly corrected camera time, the phenomenon occured precisely in period 0:59:51-57 CET (or 23:59:51-57 UTC, 27 June 2017) of the 6s exposure. Stay tuned for update.
