Sky should be deeply dark, considering the altitude, however due to atmopsheric <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eso.org\/public\/videos\/esocast78a\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">airglow<\/a> it is not so far. In the scene, looking very similar like it was taken somewhere on Mars, some the 66 antenas are trying to reveal one of biggest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/science\/2011\/oct\/03\/alma-universe-secrets-astronomers\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">secrets of the Universe<\/a>, such as origin of stars, exoplanets and the Universe itself, in specific <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Submillimetre_astronomy\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">submillimetre<\/a> part of electromagnetic spectrum. In fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mars\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mars<\/a> is in the image as well &#8211; you can identify it as the brightest reddish &#8220;star&#8221; above the center of the Milky Way  as it was close to its last opposition. The other reddish accompanion to Mars is <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Antares\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">red giant Antares<\/a>. If you don&#8217;t see me, look directly to the column of the zodiacal light, and you find silhuette of person who feels exactly like Alice in the Wonderland.
