Airglow impact over the Yellowstone

Just five days after the American solar eclipse, I was witness of another spectacular astronomical phenomenon. While traveling in the Yellowstone National Park, the biggest challenge was to take a nice nightscape over the Grand Prismatic Spring. Well, it is not pretty safe as presence of dangerous black and grizzly bears is very common in the park. But I took the risk. Actually, only dangerous situation happened when I walked on the bridge to the famous colorful spring and other photographer almost shot me with his gun, seriously prepared for possible bear attack. Eventually, nothing serious happened and I spent wonderful night moments there. Despite the beautiful Milky Way in Yellowstone’s dark skies, the most spectacular of the night was, however, the intense airglow appearing over the hot spring. It was such bright to be easily visible with naked eyes. The spring itself is the azure oval on center right, producing the closest steam cloud. Used Canon 6D IR Baader modified, Samyang 24 mm, f2.8, ISO 10000, 28x15s panorama from tripod.
