Full Moon rising over Kuneticka hora, me and my friend Josef Kujal noticed NLCs structures just in zenith and not believed this was happening. The NLCs covered the whole sky by fine nets of an incredibly huge complex of the mesospheric clouds. This is completely unique here in the Czech Republic, located at 50 degrees of latitude. So we quickly moved to a nearby pond called Hrádek, where the view was the best–with a wonderful reflection on the calm water. I only saw this twice before – in 2012 and 2019, seeking every dusk and dawn for NLCs during June and July from 2007. So only three times in my life of about 1100 cases of all negative or positive observations! Used Canon 6D, Samyang 14mm, f2.8@3.5, ISO 640, 1/2 s, taken from tripod.
What a thrilling Noctilucent Clouds sighting today, 5th July 2020! When enjoying
