Falcon’s Horns

Yesterday evening, on May 2, 2024, I was–like many others–waiting for some auroras as the G3 storming was in progress. Unfortunately, the activity dropped down rapidly just before dusk ended. But during the waiting in Záhořice, Czech Republic, something odd appeared. A fuzzy white swirl with two blurred “horns”. At first glance, it looked slightly like a plane landing through the clouds, but later that evening, I was informed the object was the second stage of a Falcon 9 rocket on its polar path. Well, you expect one special view and get a different one by chance. Used Canon Ra, Sigma 35mm ART, f1.8, ISO 1000, 4s exposure from tripod.
