Distant Sprite vs. Milky Way

This early morning’s (22 June, 2026) stormy weather over southern Slovenia and Italy was pretty active. While observing from Ústupky, Czech Republic a beautiful, at 21:56 UTC, the elusive Red Sprite appeared above a strong thunderstorm, which was located about 530 km far from me, just under the majestic Milky Way! Their typical red color is caused by nitrogen emission about 50-95km high in the atmosphere. Used Canon Ra, Samyang 85mm, f1.4, ISO 1000, 5s exposure (Milky Way stacked of 40x5s exposure).
